Bath & Body Works: Sales Up, Income Down, New Leadership

Bath & Body Works reports sales up 1.5% to $1.5B, but income down 58% to $64M. Focus on digital experience, product effectiveness, and network growth. Bernstein appointed to leadership role.

In its most current earnings, the firm reported net sales were up 1.5% year over year to $1.5 billion. Net income was down virtually 58% to $64 million. The merchant’s focus gets on elevating its digital experience, magnifying its product effectiveness and increasing its circulation network, per Heaf.

New Leadership at Bath & Body Works

“Maly brings proven raised multi-channel retail leadership, delivering distinctive customer experiences and growth across all channels,” Bathroom & Body Works Chief Executive Officer Daniel Heaf, who signed up with the company this previous spring after a six-year period at Nike, claimed in a declaration.

Bernstein stepped down as chief executive of Macy’s, Inc.-owned Bluemercury at the end of September after four years at the helm. She previously worked at CVS Wellness and previously in her profession was an associate principal at McKinsey & Business.
