We’re in the midst of a backwards shift, agrees Jeanie Annan-Lewin, consultant and creative director of Perfect Magazine, who recently wrote about fashion’s return to size zero in an article for Elle titled ‘My body has gone out of style’.
The programme was set up in 2019 by Anna Cofone, a hairstylist who has worked with the likes of Dua Lipa and Lana del Rey, and who grew up with a blind father.
This season, Mrs Prada and Mr Simons played things light, delivering a youthful collection full of look-twice details and gestures all contained within silhouettes sometimes so shrunken that you suspected pieces of the outerwear had been lifted from the models’ mothers’ wardrobes.
